My friends and I always come here for a fun night out and its great if you have a large group of people who are very hungry!The food here is excellent and always a hit with everyone i’ve ever brought here!! Meat is great as is there other dishes including sea food pancake and their chicken.A very good feed, make sure to book as its always busy
Came here last night with a friend at around 6pm. Luckily we were seated before the crowds came. Nice atmosphere, service was pretty good, it was actually quite easy to get the attention of service staff, unlike some other places I’ve been to where they try to avoid eye contact…We ordered the bc1 beef combo for BBQ and a pan fried seafood and shallots pancake. The waitress started cooking the meat for us (my friend who has been before doesn’t remember them providing that service on previous visits to the restaurant), and we dug right in, and it was towards the end that I realised.. no food photos! :OThe banchan offered by this restaurant was a bit mediocre, it’s been a while since I’ve been to its neighbour Madang, but the banchan there I thought was better from memory. One of the side dishes they gave us, the radish, was actually moved from the next table to ours, and given it only had two pieces, we weren’t sure whether that was a new bowl or leftover from a previous customer :S The seafood pancake was crispy and very delicious! The quality of the meats for the BBQ was very good, and the marinated cuts were so tasty.We were here until closing time, slowly eating, drinking and chatting. There was no rush to get us out, which was great. However, the table next to us seemed to like their BBQ black and pillars of smoke kept wafting over to us…Overall though, food and service was good, and price was pretty standard for Korean BBQ. Would I go back again – definitely!

Im not sure this place is still the old o bal tan I used to come for bbq, seems it has change owner.I havent been back to o bal tan since ages, tonight we decided to come and to have dinner.I would still recommend the BBQ, meat quality is stop top notch!Seafood pancake also good, but yo me a little touch of salt bring this dish more to live!
Came here after it was mentioned that this place had good reviews. Had an average experience. Ordered the beef platter and hot pot. They made a mistake with the hot pot as we had ordered non-spicy for the children and they had provided spicy. Sent it back, it still came back with spicy soup but without the oil layer. Sent it back again, and then came the correct hot pot but missing the mushrooms. This disrupted our dinner significantly. What made up for it was them being extremely apologetic, offering the dish for free and even sending our children off with some free juices.
This place is below average. Slow service, poor ventilation and food is just average. BBQ plate burn out so quick, we had to request change of cooking plate every now and then.
We loved the kimchi jiggae here! The hot stone bibimbap had really sticky rice, wasnt too impressed with it. Might come back to try out the bbq selection.
