Sent in a catering request which they didn’t respond to until two days before we required the food, only for them to tell us they couldn’t process our order. Very disappointed with how long it took for them to get back to us and how difficult it was to contact them. Don’t order catering from them if you actually want your order.
So disappointed. After deciding to eat at Pasta Pantry, my friend discovered and poured out nearly 4 tablespoons worth of oil from her over priced pesto linguine. This unhealthy and disgusting dish ruined our city outing as my friend continued to feel sick all throughout the day. The only redeeming quality of our experience was the friendly and nice staff. However, will not be dining here again.
A good range of pastas, salads, meat and veg. There’s ready made pastas or pasta to order. You can also get a combination – I got brown rice salad and spaghetti. Nice! Easy, cheap and quick on the run.
I choose two pastas in the medium size. The creamy fusilli chicken and mushroom pasta was quick nice. However the penne chilli chicken was slightly dry and disappointing.
IG: @Sexual_TongueVIBEGiven the name of the restaurant, I was obliged to try something from their orgasmic pasta menu – as if you wouldn’t! It has a set-up like a canteen-vibe of wooden interior with a row of pre-made pastas (as well as sandwiches and salads) that were ready-to-go. I am assuming it caters mostly to anybody that needs a quick feed with little wait time. Not me, I wanted to sit and experience every taste, service and vibe! SERVICEI ordered the ‘PESTO & CHORIZO PENNE’ large size because I froth over both flavours together and it looked the most colourful out in the display! Unfortunately, I was served with a takeaway container which I knew would be unflattering for my photo taking and review. However, I give them points for using environmentally options for their takeaway containers. I also used the @EatClub App which gave me 30% off my meal. TASTEI devoured the meal slowly and overall had an underwhelming experience. Given the nature of its canteen-like set-up, the pasta was not fresh and soft as I like it. It was heavily drenched in oil (I believe olive oil) to keep the moisture after its long exposure to the open air. You can just tell it was sitting out there for a while. I did however enjoy that there was a generous amount of chorizo throughout each bite which saved my experience from giving them a 1-star. OVERALLI am not so keen to return and try the other pasta options due to its canteen-like nature however this restaurant is great if you need a quick feed and carb load if you are in the city area. I really did enjoy sitting in the restaurant as it is situated away from the hustle and bustle of peak hour human traffic. Good escape!
