Reign is such a pretty space, my spouse and I live nearby and love champagne / sparkling wine, so we have made several attempts to stop by here. Reign has made a lot of noise on social media as a late night venue. I’ve stopped by three times (including last night – a Saturday night) at around 10:45pm and (rudely) told they were closed. I’d love to give this place a better review but I see it all over by Feb ‘20.

This is a really pretty venue for small to large groups with okay food and drinks. I went for dinner and you pick from the ‘Nibbles’ menu. I had the raw kingfish, smoked salmon with pikelets and the drunken chicken bao which were all pretty okay. For drinks, we were recommended the Perrier-Jouet ‘Blason’ Brut rosé which was expensive but really nice. I think the highlight though was the atmosphere and views of the Town Hall area.

Lovely feminine styled champagne bar doing simple but tasty food. We went at 1pm on a Sunday and were told that the lunch menu was not available. So we ordered brunch items which were nice but would have preferred some salads, perhaps a pasta? The fried rice seemed like a strange addition to the menu being Asian and the venue more of a sophisticated champagne bar style. I brought this up with the waiter out of interest and he didn’t respond (language seemed to be an issue). We ordered it anyway and it was yum! Service was a bit patchy and it seemed like they were still figuring things out? Lovely ambiance and tasty food but for the price I would expect to be able to order from the lunch menu at 1pm and have better service

I love the idea of a Champagne Parlour and although we opted for Prosecco last week we will definitely choose Champagne on the next occasion. And what an extensive Champagne & Drinks menu they have! #reign
