Pretty good food at quite cheap prices. Usual bain-marie type setting with the curries on display. Be aware that there is an extra charge for the Biryani rice which they don’t explicitly tell you about. Generally not too difficult to get a seat at the tables just outside
Quality and Yummy. Why isn’t mango lassi more popular! Spice Boys do great curry and chicken tandoori wraps along with value-for-money mango lassi. A great place for a good Indian take-away lunch fix.

Indian Hunter. This minuscule place is located in the very unglamourous rabbit-warren-like Hunter Arcade. Blink and you really will walk straight past it. The food is your run-of-the-mill Indian fare sitting under heat lights. Korma, chickpea, butter, madras curries. Same same nothing different. It’s cheap, not all that bad and if you’re eating ‘in’ the seating is up the escalators in the main food area. heneedsfood.com
