A great indoor outdoor place to have a few drinks before heading to the next watering hole. This is just above Palmer and Co and in the heart of the CBD. The bartender was phenomenal and she made our drinks memorable. Fun night out.
Tucked down tank stream way this bar is a classy and cosy spot for an afterwork or pre dinner drink. There are lounge areas which are great for groups and a long communal table down the middle – this place gets busy and sometimes it’s standing room only. The bar snacks looked very familiar and then it clicked they are pretty much the same as the ones on offer at merivales other venue the establishment. I recommend the Chargrill flatbread with beetroot and capsicum dips and salt and pepper calamari. There are also plenty of wines on offer both by the glass and the bottle.
Came here by mistake as we thought this was Palmer & Cohaha! But guess what we actually liked this bar better than downstairs Palmer & Co. A very good selection of wine, no need to wait 30 mins for a drink and best of all you can just relax and have a good conversation without screaming your lunges out like downstairs. Loved chill and classy decor and loved vast wine selection at reasonable price. thernbdiary.com
