Nice place that has never been overly busy when I have popped in for a little bite to eat and a glass of champagne. Last time I visited here was for a post City2Surf (2015) pizza reward after impromptu decision to stay in the hotel
While the service was excellent, unfortunately the food just doesn’t shine. I had oysters which were bland (granted not necessarily the restaurants fault) – and the accompanying shallot vinegar dressing wasn’t well balanced. The dumplings were also bland and under filled – leaving an over cooked sight pastry shell to contend with.
