The ideal, classy spot for a cocktail and a cheeseboard. Centrally located in the lobby of the Hyatt Regency hotel on Sussex Street, we came here on Saturday night looking for somewhere nice to eat a snack, have a cocktail and chat amongst friends. This was the ideal place to tick all of those boxes as it is a nice spot with good ambience and not too loud so that we could all talk. Staff are well trained excellent manners. They are very attentive service the menu. Variety of cocktails on the menu, including A traditional espresso martini as well as their own variation.Being within a hotel, prices are not cheap. but the quality of the food, drinks service are worth it.
After starting the day driving into the City and enjoying the delights of Sydney peak hour traffic, I found the Lobby Bar at the Hyatt an island of peace and tranquility to reconnect before the day ahead. Comfortable and cocooned from the morning outside, the staff were friendly and efficient, and the coffee was well made and flavourful.
