A sign outside the Wynyard Hotel advertises a daily happy hour although, having had a recent drink in this dark, dingy, grim establishment, I can’t imagine much happiness has ever occurred within its walls. Unless of course your happiness is derived by sinking beers at 9AM on Monday morning in which case this is the ideal venue for you as it never seems to close.The only redeeming feature was the fact that the pub had Kirin on tap which earned it an extra half point in this score.One for the brave or desperate. thernbdiary.com

This is a place where most corporate from nearby come to as drinks are surely right n cheap abd the place is easy. In the end you can play poker too if you in on the right days.
Pleasant corner pub with a warm and inviting atmosphere. Staff are lovely and clearly enjoy their jobs. Opted for this after opting out of an empty sad looking Shirt Bar for a night cap; so glad we did! Been here for after work drinks a few times over the years, it’s always had a nice cozy feel.
