Hands down some of the best Thai food we’ve eaten in Australia. Absolutely delicious food. Authentic, but modern. We were lucky enough to live just around the corner from this place however we met people driving from afar just to eat here.The location is not pretty by any means, being next to Princess Hwy, but the food is worth it. Staff is friendly and prices are very affordable. We would recommend anyone visiting the Shire to give this place a go. The food is delicious!
My wife and i came here after failing to get a table at the popular Wayama restaurant down the road. We went into restaurant without any expectations, glad just to get a table having not made a booking.We ordered a ‘Panang’ curry with chicken and a stir fried garlic and pepper calamari. We were surprised by the curry which was more like a peanutty curry sauce served on a bed of greens. The curry was different from the penang curries that we are used to having but was nevertheless tasty.The stir fried garlic and pepper calamari was a different story. The dish was flavorsome, the calamari cooked well and sauce well balanced.We will be back but on our next visit will probably stick to their stir fry, bbq and ‘specialty’ dishes which seem to be the ‘go-to’ dishes for the restaurant’s regulars.
Order from these guys all the time, foods always really fresh & tasty. This isn’t your average Thai – they have their own little twist which is worth a try because Thai food can be very same-same. You’ll find your faves like peanut satay & green curries for sure but there’s also their signature dishes that are really unique and beautifully put together. Highly recommend the betal leaves for entree and the panang lamb shanks, just divine! It’s nice that they have brown barley rice too for those looking to avoid starchy carbs!
