Absolutely fresh and fabulous food. We are picky about our food and this was excellent. So good we have gone back 5 times in 2 minths, booked a Christmas party there and took all our family and friends there and literally booked the entire place out. Great atmosphere with the father, mother son team. You can see the father has extensive traditional experience which seems to kow be filtering down to Son. Well done guys, see you soon!

Food was very fresh, tasted great and great for family dinner with kids. Don’t expect too much atmosphere. Will return next time for the seafood selection. Prices are a little on the high side…but that’s my gripe for anywhere in Sydney these days!

Average as hell. Looked good from the start but when we started ordering we were told that they no longer serve fresh ingredients , so no sushimi or tataki etc and then when trying to order not from the set menu the owner kept pushing for us only to order from set menu. Wouldn’t come again, not impressed with the food, or the service .

Great food, atmosphere and experience!. Just came home from a lovely dinner at Akita Teppinyaki – it’s fairly new to the shire but a really welcome addition. My husband and I had a beautiful 9 course dinner so we got to taste quite a few of the dishes. The beef eye fillet was our absolute favourite, but it was all really yummy. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was fun with throwing and catching eggs, fried rice and watching the chef’s impressive knife skills. Was fun just the two of us, but would also be fun with a group of people. Thank you Akita! We will be back for sure 🙂

Great party – group venue. Just held my teenage birthday party at Akita, great fun, lots to eat. Very accommodating to food intolerances. Great experience, something a little different when you need to catch your dinner. If you don’t its cleaned up immediately.

Not Good enough if you dont like voucher holders than don’t advertise on their websites….. When asked by chef/cook at hot plate if I was using an Our Deal Voucher I should have known that something was wrong my husband I and were given small amounts, a sample size whilst the couple sitting next to us were given a decent amount as they were paying guests I suppose. If this restaurant does not want to abide by the rules of giving voucher holders the same portions as those who attend on the night then they should not advertise on Our Deal websites. I will not ever go back and I will certainly vocalise and enter my experience with this establishment on my facebook account. I did not realise having a voucher entitled us to a taste test for the night as we then went to Hungry Jacks at Heathcote for something to eat…and that was the same at a much cheaper price….we should have just gone there at the beginning of he night.,…
