hey there, i went to Akita Teppanyaki in Sylvania quite recently and had a fabulous experience. the food was amazing and well worth the price, although the chef’s struggled with english, they didn’t fail to make our time enjoyable. the service was great, we had a waiter frequently getting us waters and asking us if everything’s okay. it was a little bit troubling having 11 people at one cooktop, but it was a great night. the food was very well cooked and tasty. i would recommend. – TF

I went here for dinner to celebrate my 30th birthday with a large-ish group. Our chef was fantastic, he was hilarious and really made the night. The food was awesome and it was a great atmosphere. Prices were reasonable too. I will definitely be going back! Just don’t wear clothes that are too expensive or white!
