Went there for dinner with a friend. We had 9 course and 11 course. It’s quiet place and the chef (or maybe the owner) came to say Hi 🙂 Waiter service was just average. The food looks ok, taste not bad. Had soft shell crab, but i think it was pre cooked, not really fresh.. But their date cake was fabulous! I wish i could have 2.
Local favourite, one of my favourite restaurants in Sydney, great food and service. Have had the opportunity to go to many fine restaurants that offer degustation with a hefty price tag, Seven Lanterns scores high with me and a 1/3 of the price compared to others. Had my birthday here with 30 guests, all extremely happy and impressed – highly recommend
My hubble and I are regulars at Seven Lanterns making a regular pilgrimage from Alexandria for the unique Korean Japanese fusion. We inevitably go for the degustation so we can revisit all our favourites. David is always the perfect host – even setting up a table outside with us during the Summer so we can bring our dogs out with us. Highly recommended!
