Set in an old bank building, at night when lit up it really sets the scene with high ceilings. Came here as a group of 8. The menu consisted of sharing plates and also individual servings. The waiter suggested we do a group share for $40. Easy, done! Fast game is a good game I always say. Next I sampled the local beers on tap, the ladies ordered a bottle of Sauv Blanc and a bottle of Piper. Unfortunately we were told later that they ran out of Piper but ‘would be happy to go down to the bottlo. I would have thought they would have just done that without getting us involved as they would have made a decent profit from it still. There also a nice area outside to have drinks, beautifully lit with candles.Makes you feel like you are back in the Colonial period. The food comes out one by one on sharing plates. Octopus on bed of fruit and veg. Bit tasteless and Gould be more tender. Pork belly- good. Rubbed chicken – also tasty,
What a great venue. Beautiful building and a hip joint inside. Love that they have New England pale ale. Great drop! A somewhat tasty fried chicken burger, if somewhat a little dry and in need of some lubricanting condiment, maybe a smokey paprika mayonnaise or a creole salsa, just suggesting. Which then leads to the tapas. So sharing a few dishes such as lamb shoulder, squid, Halloumi and tacos. These were tasty indeed, even if they were rather overpriced but hey, Sydney and Melbourne should have a monopoly on overcharging
A funky bar and restaurant right in the middle of Tamworth. The service staff were helpful and accommodating. The menu had a decent range of options available. The arancini was delicious, as were the dumplings. Pizzas were very good. They have lots of deals throughout the week including cheap jugs of cocktails on weekends. Make sure you book a table to avoid disappointment.
