About

The Pig and Tinder Box was one of the first pubs in the New England Region, setting up shop in 1848. Fast-forward 170 years and the "The Pig" is back in the form of a boutique bar meets classic pub. - the brainchild of Chris Cornforth and Fraser Haughton (who bought Orange, NSW its first small bar "Percy's Bar and Kitchen"). The old bank building in the heart of town has been revamped, creating life, character and a sense of action and atmosphere that the beautiful heritage-listed building deserves.
