Nothing much stands out from the outside of this cafe, so expectations weren’t high. Was pleasantly surprised by the friendly service & my smoked salmon eggs benedict. It looked quite nicely plated. The eggs were perfectly oozy. Yes there was a bit too much sauce, but it wasn’t unbearable. The coffee was good too.
On the plus side, we enjoyed our coffees and the happy, friendly service from the young waitress.Neither of us enjoyed our eggs benny with bacon; the bacon was quite undercooked and had way too much ready made cold hollandaise sauce.We noticed other meals around us looked much better, I think we just chose the wrong dish.I’d give it another go but to try another menu option.
