An experience not to be missed. I went there with a group of 20 during mid of the week for a lunch. I found the staff and theservice very warm and friendly. They were able to give personal attention to everyone’s taste and gave good recommendations to those who want to try something different. I ordered a Golosa pizza for 2 of us and found the taste and quality really good.Food 4*Service 4*Location 3.5*
Almost faultless. Food was great – decent portion size and tasted so good! The restaurant itself looks grand and is kept very clean. Only fault is that it felt more crowded than last time I went – in that it felt like there was more tables, not that it was just an exceptionally busy night. I really enjoyed my experience here.
Quality woodfired pizza and pasta is the staple of this gem of a local Italian where quality produce and care is taken over preparation of your meal. Typical waiter service is swift and attentive with good manners. Don’t overlook that Primi. I had lamb backstrap with fennel and seasonal greens. Simple but beautifully cooked. I’ll be coming again when I’m out that way.
Mid week dinner was good at Cavallino Italian restaurant. Spacious entrance of this restaurant was great with open pizza oven area, bar, lounge and open plan large dining area with wooden beam. Staffs are very attentive. Pizza bread and antipasto was our entree. Pizza bread was bit too salty with a lot of sea salt. Again linguine was a bit over seasoned with salt. Mushroom pizza was good and generous size. Mixed berry tart was average…
Food wise this place is spot on with their pizza’s, but be wary if you stray from the pizza menu their other mains are overpriced and underwhelming. The sitting area inside can often feel like a cafeteria, noisy and busy – not somewhere you would go for a romantic date but probably okay for families. The service I found to be attentive and enthusiastic. This place has potential but not a favourite.
Pizza – too much carbon on the bottom – made it bitter. Otherwise, not bad but nothing amazing either. Wait staff seemed a little all over the shop – didn’t know who ordered what drinks. Had to keep asking for additional drinks or more water. This place looks promising but is underwhelming, all in all.
