  Went here on the weekend for a family lunch. Overall I was impressed with the service speed and food.Great menu with lots of variety and interesting ingredients. Would recommend the probiotic salad. Its a fantastic place to go if you’re trying to be healthy as there are plenty of healthy options.However, there is little heating indoors or outdoors so don’t go when its cold! Also, the setting is half in a supermarket and the ambience is not great.

  Tasting deck is located within Forestway Fresh. The ingredients are sourced directly from the grocery store and everything is freshly made in store and of high quality, ensuring that there is no bad experience! There is plenty of parking outside and choice of seating, both indoors and out. The waiters and waitresses are really helpful and attentive to your needsVery family and dog friendly space, with a playground in viewing distance from the outdoor seating area.We had the freshly squeezed juice using Forestway produce of the apple broccoli and ginger and we had the rose diamond smoothie (strawberry, raspberry and blueberry, almond meal and agave).For lunch we opted for a healthy option -Probiotic salad, packed with kale, faro, quinoa, witlof, pepper berry sauerkraut, kombucha and fig vinaigrette and topped off with smoked salmon. The serving sizes for the restaurant was generous and the food filling and cleansing. If we had to identify the best breakfast options it would be this!

  Part of the Forestway Fresh market and deli, The Tasting Deck offers breakfast, lunch, and a huge range of pastries and desserts made fresh, seasonal produce.They have a few vegetarian and vegan options on the menu – I highly recommend the Vegan Envy Burger and their almond milk iced coffee. However, it would be great if they offered more vegan-friendly salads and sandwiches.There’s a kids menu and a large children’s playground right next to the deck, so it’s a great place to for families. morethangreens.com

  A lovely new cafe restaurant at the newly renovated Forestway Fresh store, where not only can you buy your fruit & veg, but a huge selection of cheeses, meats & imported European goodies. Before or after your shop, stop by the stylish, modern cafe for a delicious breakfast or brunch of ricotta hotcakes that’s like a hotcake/muffin/cake all in one. Or maybe the perfectly poached eggs with asparagus & hallandaise. Or maybe lunch on the salmon with polenta or grilled halloumi or a delicious woodfired burger straight from the impressive woodfire oven. There is also a selection of ready made salads to have in the cafe or to take home as well as ready made meals and of course a selection of sweets like brownies, cakes, cannoli and more that are perfect with a great coffee. Quality is key here and there is plenty that will please adults and children, who will love the milkshakes, babycino or thick oozy cheese toasties. The staff are super friendly here, especially the boss Pascuale who is gentle, warm, with a smile that is so genuinely welcoming. A large playground for the kids means this cafe is catered for adults & kids equally and everyone can enjoy and relax in such an environment. Great to see such a little gem on the upper north shore.
