I recently visited the blue Diamond restaurant with my family and love the atmosphere, the location and the live music on a Friday night however…The food choices are limited and the lack of healthy choices disappointing. I ordered the Barramundi with potatoes and what I was served was a piece of fish with over fried chips drowned in a sauce of oil which I could not eat.. the manager was unapologetic and unable to offer any compensation on an expensive meal saying that there was nothing wrong with it and I went home hungry, frustrated and suffice to say wont be back… a real shameSamantha powell

We have had the steak, chicken and pizza and have enjoyed them all. Nice setting, Disappointing Food. The restaurant has a good location with nice views over the water. Decor is modern and comfortable, and is set up nicely for enjoying a glass of wine or a few cocktails. The menu looked appetizing enough but the food was disappointing for the price being paid (we’ve had better pub grub in town!). We ordered a Nicoise salad which the menu described as having ‘marinated tuna’ which turned out to be tinned flavoured tuna. The Lamb sausages on mash with endive salad lacked flavour, the ‘endive salad’ was a sprig of endive on top with no dressing, mash was heavy and oily. It was an underwhelming dining experience.
