Disappointed!. Today I decided to try this cafe but was extremely disappointed when I ordered their burramundi burger to be told they would use sourdough as they had run out of turkish bread…fair enough…but what arrived was a burramundi burger on 2 slices of no frills white sliced bread…which I was not told about…and even when I voiced my disappointment they couldn’t care less…and besides that it took them more than half an hour to make and serve it to me…basically they couldn’t go and buy some turkish bread from the nearby Woolies I guesss because they”ll be closed for the next few days…but no excuse…that disappointing experience is making me write this review…and won t go back…. 1 star!

Horrible experience. All we wanted was a simple breakfast but alas this cafe was not that location – after being informed that there could be a delay with food we patiently waited …..with two small children may i add ! people that had ordered after us were getting served. When i mentioned this to the staff she proceeded to check kitchen and was told that they had forgotten to cook order as YET ! No apologies , no remarks – we requested refund and left only to notice that they had charged us for coffee served 45 min prior ..if in the area try another cafe

I have found my Cafe for coffee and a great breakfast!. Just up from the blowhole, this caf has reassured me that there are places outside the big cities that can deliver a great tasting coffee and food to match! This place looks like it is undergoing some renovations to improve the feel of the place. That said, the place was nice and busy when we went passed and once I saw they served Toby’s Estate coffee, I had to try it.Having two friends staying with us for the weekend, I was hoping to find a good caf as this was their last meal before heading back to Melbourne. I am pleased to say, we were all very pleased with the variety and quality of food offered and the coffee was very pleasing. We waited for around 20 minutes for our meals to arrive and were certainly pleased with the quality and presentation of all four meals. Eggs benedict and the big brekky were spot on. The service from the young staff member was professional, however, you could see that she was quite flustered as it was probably their peak time.Trained Barristers make such a difference and this place certainly ensures the Toby’s Estate rep continues to be held in high regard (as it should).I will certainly be back to this caf as I am really pleased with the quality of both the food and strong, good quality coffee. I am looking forward to trying the lunch menu!My criticism – They really need to have their menu displayed near the counter – there is a massive blank wall directly behind the counter that looks like it once had the menu there. That said, this is only a minor thing and certainly didn’t affect our meals!

Shocking service, not a single smile from any of the staff, very unfriendly and unhelpful. Food was ok but I wouldn’t come back unless they up their game. Choose your staff wisely next time owner.
