Left before we were even served.. Let me just say at the outset that I have never left a caf before. I am usually easily pleased with a little coffee and cake. Which was all I was after on my recent visit. We took a front table which needed clearing but there was no waitress to be found nearby. So we waited. And waited. We watched while the people opposite (who arrived after us) were served. Eventually the hubby went to the counter to ask to order but the waitress said she would come over and take our order. She appeared to follow him back to our table but then decided to take the order of the table beside us, also people who came in after us.We got up and left. I do hope we just came in on a bad day, but sadly we left feeling anything but welcome.
Great cakes & food, service but the coffee is weak & largely tasteless. Seems like the Barrista’s don’t drink coffee. Which is a shame because this is my local cafe but I would rather drive into Kiama to get a coffee than drink one here.
Disappointed VERY overpriced Coffee $4.50 for a large coffee + $0.60 for skim milk. I’ve never seen a cafe charge $5.10 for a skim cap. To make matters worse they didn’t use skim milk… It was lite white. If you are charging customers for skim milk you should a least insure that’s what they get!
