The food is ok but pretty average, not worth travelling for. The staff are pretty rude, looking for any excuse to cut you off and Sydney is already such a nanny state
Went with friends to have a nice evening drink and listen to music. Was asked to leave when someone complained I spilled drink on them when they actually heavily bumped into me. Absolutely rude and obnoxious security and manager had a pathetic attitude and wouldn’t relent when we wanted an explanation with witnesses.Avoid at all costs.
Average pub food, but fresh enough. My salmon had a great crispy skin & I loved the beetroot addition to the mash. Only whine was my fish was not piping hot. Service was fine. Partner enjoyed a good old fashioned shepherds pie, nice comfort food
Excellent pub, with a great atmosphere. We went there on a quietish Wednesday night, and the service was very attentive and the food was exactly what we wanted. A beautifully cooked steak with perfectly cooked chips. The salad was unique, but still very tasty and refreshing. Great bar staff too!
Schnit: Chicken Schnitzel.Excusing the salad, which looked quite good but ended up on Mrs SchnitMyDadSays’ plate, the attached photo probably does the meal justice. You can see the chips look OK but not great. The Schnit is beautifully golden but a little too crispy on the edges? Close call. Could have been a thicker cut, too. Pepper sauce, divine! I would come back as it just makes the cut.
For the people who have read my first review on Tommy’s caffe, they would know that I like schnitzel so thats why I ordered it again on Friday night 5th June for dinner, it came with slaw salad, chips and a red wine jus. There was only one thing that I thought that was strange, and it was the red wine jus.
Still waiting…. Been over an hour waiting for this food. Chef is struggling with the numbers but there is barely anyone here… Go elsewhere!
