Follow my insta @burgersnbikinisI cannot rave enough about my experience at this venue. If I could give it 6/5 I would! On Saturday night I celebrated my 26th birthday here, and everything about the night was absolutely on point! It was a booking for 20 guests, and we were all seated at the long wooden table in front of the chefs kitchen that looks out onto beautiful Circular Quay and the Opera House. It was a rainy night, but such a cosy intimate space with friends, that it was the perfect space. The staff here are simply wonderful, nothing was too much trouble for them. They kindly took photos for us, I got a free glass of champagne for my bday which was sweet, and they organized my bday cake to come out later in the evening. The best part is that with such a huge booking we were still able to order off the a la carte menu making it so simple for everyone to go up and order as they wish, when they wished throughout the night! No hassle of splitting bills at the end, what a dream! The venue itself is gorgeous, with an Asian inspired theme decorated in elaborate chairs, cosy lounge spaces, a well stocked bar, cool wall murals and a moody vibe. The menu, both cocktails and food, carries on the theme. Let’s talk about the cocktails first. Not only do they have funky names, but the flavours are incredible. I honestly am not a huge cocktail fan as I often find them too strong for me, but the bar staff can happily point you in the direction of something suited to your taste. The food menu has some nice choices and is ideal for sharing a few dishes with friends. There’s dumplings, a range of meat skewers, spring rolls and heavier dishes like udon. Delicious tasty fresh food, and a simple menu that nails the dishes listed. There’s also dessert if you’re a fan of sweet treats! You absolutely have to check out this venue! Would be great for a date night, a classy dinner with friends, somewhere to show off the view to visitors, or just a gorgeous cocktail spot if you’re keen for a dance on a Saturday night. This ones going to quickly become a regular!Saz – burgersnbikinis xx

Junk lounge on level 2 of Cruise Bar blew my mind! Asian fusion street style food with so many delicious options to suit literally anyone! I couldn’t recommend it enough, especially 3 for $3 dumpling Wednesday’s with any cocktail purchase. Perfect!

An amazing location with an unforgettable view. Junk Lounge is a place where the food and service match in quality to its surroundings.Their menu throws Asian tradition out the window and instead gives you food so pleasurable it is an enlightening experience.Highlights: The Korean Chicken Wings are a taste sensation and worth the awkward finger licking, The Hainese Chicken and Rice is amazing enough to enduring stuffing yourself, and the dessert cannot be faulted. While the menu states simply Raspberry Mousse, it is anything but ordinary.Whether youre visiting Sydney or you live here, Junk Lounge is an experience worth enjoying. Take your family, your friends or that special someone and enjoy a bit of magic overlooking our beautiful harbour.
