Tucked off an alley near Circular Quay, in Sydney’s CBD, is this cute cafe that moonlights as a trendy bar/club after sunset. We walked passed it before realising that a random opening in the brick facade was exactly where we needed to go. Walking in, we were greeted by friendly staff and seated in a dimly lit room with exposed brick, large exposed vents. It was a little bit warm on the inside, and we weren’t sure if the vents were operating, or their was any aircon – the warehouse style cafe definitely absorbs a bit of heat.
Soggy French toast, and an overpriced burger. Although the fried chicken burger tasted alright for 18$ it didnt come with fries. The French toast looked nothing like the picture on Instagram. It was soggy, didnt have an accompaniments. I could have made it at home in the toaster and it would have tasted better. The service was poor. We didnt get asked if we wanted any drinks at first and it took forever to get the waiters attention to order. Overall, I was not impressed. Would not recommend it to anyone.
