My friend and I came here today for lunch to catch up and celebrate our belated birthdays and it did not disappoint. Even though it was busy, the staff were friendly and the wait for the food wasnt that long.My friend wanted to try their pretzel with mustard which came out nice and warm. We both couldnt go past their pork belly which was generous in size so we couldnt finish it! Shame as it was tasty with a great crispy crackling. We had a few glasses of wine (rose and Shiraz) and even though we were so full, we decided to share their apple strudel. Perfect size to share as it has a nice crispy crust and a rich filling. It was a lovely lunch as we sat in the courtyard that overlooked outside. Nice weather with the busy atmosphere of the Rocks. Definitely worth trying if you feel like comfort food in the Rocks!

Been meaning to try this place for ages and finally got around to it! Came on a Monday night and it was already packed at around 6pm. There were probably like 2 waitresses who takes, delivers and does the billing. With 2 other employees minding the cash register. Service is not as attentive but once you let them know youre there, they will come and serve you. Their prices are reasonable for the portion that you get. We got the bavarian tasting platter for one and that was almost enough for two of us! The platter was delicious! Every piece of sausage was juicy! The schnitzel was cooked perfectly – never had a schnitty this good on its own! The mash and cabbage was absolutely delicious! I just found the apple strudel piece on the side quite random. But this platter was a good 10/10!The pork knuckle was recommended by the waitress, it was unfortunately disappointing. Pork knuckle was soo difficult to eat and i guess because there isnt much variation in the dish, its quite boring. The mash and cabbage were good though! Overall, this place is a really good german place to dine in! Would come back to try more of their menu. Despite their service being not the best, their food quality is quite good! Especially for the portions you get with what you pay!

Munich Brauhaus at The rocks. Authentic German pork shank and sausage. The dishes are so generous volume and accompanying with the German beer. stevengufoodtravelology.godaddysites.com

Ive been here since this place is called Lowenbrau. Come back tonight for the famous pork knuckle and schnitzel. Chicken schnitzel with mushroom sauce is my all time favorite in here. Great atmosphere, fast serving. Meat lover will enjoy this place with live music.

A fun place perfect for large groups or if you wanted a little bit of Germany while in the heart of Sydney. The lodge house setup, festive atmosphere, and wide selection of beer all make this an experience you cannot miss out. Caveat: the live music added to its festivity but unfortunately makes conversations excessively hard. One grievance that I have is its unapologetic slow and in general unorganised service. I had to wait for almost 30 minutes before they served my drink and we all know 30 minutes in between drinks really makes the difference between getting more buzzed and absolutely sobering up.As a pescatarian, I cant say much about the food but the fries were average, although fries is probably not what you would come here for.
