Extremely clean and fresh fish and chips, you can’t go past the grilled barramundi and the dim sims are super sized. An awesome spot to enjoy a lovely lunch.
Pretty average and expensive! Ordered a Works burger for $11.90 and the processed patty made the burger taste poor. I’m not sure how the chips can be average but they were 50% as well. It was busy and the 2 girls in the kitchen were working frantically! 4 of us were pretty deflated by a $35 spend and wont come back.
Selfish is a small popular Fish n Chippery at Tweed Heads. Clientele appears to be the older crowd but lets face it Tweed is full of this demographic. Being a Victorian The Swine is amused by Potato Cakes being called Potato Scollops. The Swine is also surprised that John Dory is so cheap and the fish of choice. In Melbourne it would be Flake. Selfish offers both. It also offers beer!! This place has a number system to pick up your eat in or take away – the Swine does enjoy yelling random numbers just to confuse anyone listening for a number. All up, the Swine thinks not a bad place with nice surrounds. BYO mobility scooter.

Loved the venue, the friendliness of staff and the delicious battered fish. The batter was very nice. Also indulged in a deep fried Mars Bar which was surprisingly good. A light fluffy batter and sprinkle of icing sugar – perfect.
