Opposite the hotel is a beach to dock jet skis which was convenient for a new place to visit. There was a huge lineup as it was a Queensland public holiday. We checked on our garlic bread at about the 40 minute mark and were told we are in the same boat as everyone else. When our mains came out it was minus the garlic bread which they argued we had been given earlier. Some dishes were good others were average.

This a great pub with spectacular views of the river. It was a busy day so food took a while to get out but it was worth the wait.Standard pub lunch menu that was cooked well.Very friendly staff and great customer service.Recommend to tavern especially for a motorcycle ride down.

By far one of the worse dining experiences I have had the misfortune to have experienced.Ordered the special beef curry and it certainly was special, no spice, bland flavour, over cooked rice. Resembled a very bad beef casserole and not a curry.Kids meals very poor quality and very small portions.Sad to say this when the tavern is in such a great spot on the river, and a bit more effort in the kitchen would go far.

Nice backyard area with playground but service was appalling. Waited 30 minutes in a queue to order. Was told would take 45 minutes to an hour but took nearly 2 hours to be served. Food was ok but nothing special. When members of our group asked about the progress of their meals they were palmed off and no apology or offer of any alternative given. When you have small kids with you waiting 2 hours is a pretty big deal.

Waited half an hour to order and then an hour and 20 for the food to come out. Pretty weak. Food was ok. Parma was fine, pork belly was pretty good, but neither was worth the price, nor the wait.
