I and my friend visited this place today as its in the university where we are going. The quality of steak is so bad. We ordered medium well steak and it was like well done and well done. It was too chewy and not edible. Plus when we complained about the steak, a manager came up and showed us a bad attitude. He said that he asked my friend three times if she wants medium rare or medium well! That was not the point, as its already too overcooked!!! And he added that its medium well steak, although it looks obviously well-done well-done (more than well done) steak. We assume that he kinda thinks that we would never tried any steaks, but only rice (cause we have asian looking?) His attitude annoyed us too much and made us feel so dumbed. Never recommend to order steak for all UTS family
The cashier was very distracted whilst taking my order as she was talking to her other colleague. I ordered the fried chicken burger (which already comes with fries) as well as another serving of shoe string fries on the side for a friend. There was miscommunication and she took it as an upgrade to sweet potato fries which costed another $1. When I paid it for it, I did not take notice of the total cost and was unable to correct the order. When the food arrived, it was obviously the incorrect fries so I explained to the waitress what we were actually after. The waitress explained to the cashier who then went and talked to me. The cashier argued with me saying that she repeated the order back to me 3 times which she did not. Even after the payment, she did not say anything and we stood there for quite a bit before just taking our table number and leaving to find a table.The cashier continued to argue with me and after some time, had finally left to make me the correct food. She also came back to make me pay for the side of fries ($5) which I was happy to do, however instead of making me pay the difference of what I had already paid for the extra surcharge of sweet potato fries, she made me pay full price. Im not asking for the extra money charged back, but it would have been nice to be given an incentive or even an apology. But instead all I received was rude remarks. Although the customer service was very poor, the food was quite nice. However I would still not return here due to way the cashier handled the situation. There were many ways that she could have corrected the mistake whilst leaving both parties content. This was quite disappointing for a place that makes nice food
