This is a Ramen shop that my friend recommends. He has been here many times and this time I went there with him. The shop is in Glebe, which is close to Uni. So this is a place where students like to go.The shop itself is small. The staff are friendly. The food comes in 5 minutes, which is very fast.I ordered #Kara-Age Don# , which uses a kind of sweet sauce. The chicken is nice. However the ramen my friend ordered is too spicy. Though it doesn’t look very spicy.#Bun# is good, but it could be bigger.
Really tasty Ramen. Friendly, efficient service. Ive never had a bad experience. Tastes as good as most Ive had in Sydney and is a little cheaper than the CBD spots. Awwwww yeah
Nice noodles but it takes way to long to order and get your food. I understand that the sign of a good restaurant is how much customer comes back but the time handling between arriving and receiving your food is a serious issue. Shame.
One of the best ramen places in town! We have been regulars ever since we’ve discovered it. The yasai ramen with shio soup is divine and perfectly cooked egg.
Delicious ramen! So happy this little gem opened! I have been waiting for a good ramen place in Glebe for a while now. This restaurant has a great menu with my favorite being the Karami ramen and the jya jya men.
This new addition to Glebe has been a real blessing. Now there is virtually no need to leave Glebe (almost!). Situated at the top of Glebe Pt Rd across the road from Badde manor. This tiny Ramen bar is well decorated and offers beaches and table seating that is quite close together. The interior does feel cosy despite having to sit close to other diners, but it works in this restaurant. You order and pay at the counter and the food comes out rather promptly. I ordered Karami ramen and my partner the black pepper garlic Ramen. I’ve always loved their spicy ramen, probably the one I order most. The ramen is so flavoursome and the spicy kick was a good touch. We also ordered a side of tokoyaki to share, but we were just be greedy guts, the ramens is usually enough, but we must have been extra hungry that evening. A great place to come for some comfort, cheap and fast eat.
A newly opened Japanese ramen restaurant in Glebe, developed by the same owner of Menya Noodle Bar (city branch). The layout is a modern twist to the food markets and stalls of Japan’s alleyways. The quality is kept consistent as with Menya, and the chicken soup is made fresh daily. Their roast beef don and roast beef noodle is becoming quite popular among visitors, as well as the Yokohama ramen. Goku is an excellent addition to the neighborhood and if you want to get your fill of authentic Japanese ramen (or other dishes), it’s just a short walk from Broadway Shopping Center.
