Delicious Vietnamese in Umina. Tonight we were looking forward to trying the new Vietnamese in umina and we weren’t disappointed. We are Sydney based but come up to the coast often and had been meaning to try this for a while.We had the ban xeo Vietnamese pancake (winner!) and a few other dishes. We love our Vietnamese food and were prepared for something not so special, especially after reading reviews.. But I have to say we absolutely loved it. My favourite Vietnamese is phamish in Sydney among others in marrickville and I have to say that this pancake tops them all! The other dishes were fantastic. The food was fresh, fast and felt light and refreshing. The papaya salad was really great and I would also recommend the ribs. We spoke to the owner and discovered that it has been under new management for a week… Whatever you are doing, keep going because we’ll keep coming back except next time I will let you order for me! Yum! Highly recommended and can’t wait to go back. Great food great value and friendly staff.Ps. There wasn’t one free seat in there tonight so make sure you book.. We were lucky to walk in at 6 and get a table but by 730 it was a full house.
