Old School Great Food. This is one of the better Chinese restaurants I have eaten in for years. Now living on the central coast I have found a place that serves excellent food at reasonable prices that tastes amazing.
Food is awesome and staff are very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend the Sizzling Mongolian Steak for main, D’lish.
Our favorite Chinese place. Best on the coast. Cheap. Good service. You can order takeaway up to 9pm most nights and staff are always friendly. Portions are massive. Restaurant feels like you are at home in your lounge room, could do with renovating but is fine for what it is. after all, the food outshines everything
Good food but can get busy. One of the advantages of having two good quality Chinese restaurants in Umina is that both of them keep a very high standard. Portions at both are incredibly generous (pretty much all meat) and I don’t think I’ve ever made it through a single meal in one sitting so you’re pretty much paying for 2 meals!Takeaway can be pretty busy so the waits can be long and occasionally the time I’ve been told over the phone has been a massive underestimation meaning I’ve waiting in the restaurant for far too long. Eating in is a pleasant experience. Decor is nice, restaurant is licensed at the service is on the good side of okay. We’ve had a couple of minor bad experiences with the service but the owners have always been very receptive to these issues and I couldn’t fault their response. The owner’s son who is often at the front counter deserves particular praise for his approach to running a busy restaurant. Food is very good. Whether it is better than Umina Chinese depends on what you order and personal preference but I’ve not eaten a bad meal there. The Peking-style pork chops are a favourite of mine. My personal feeling is dine-in Silver Dragon wins but takeaway is usually easier at the Trafalgar St Chinese (Umina Chinese)
