Second time at the cafe. First experience was pretty good and since weve recently moved to the area, wanted to perhaps make it our local cafe. However this time was disappointing. It was a bit busy today so the staff seemed to be in a panic. No greeting and when asked for menu just simply pointed at menu stuck on the side of the door. Saddest thing is the server literally ripped the menu out of our baby hands by force and didnt even apologise. It is made out of paper and not like baby was chewing on it or something. Lastly food was slow and average, coffee was just warm and hot chocolate too frothy. I would not have been this judgemental if the staff was more friendly and human. I never write reviews but had to let it out. Sorry not sorry

The Trail is my new local! I was shocked to hear that it had been open for nearly a year and I live just around the corner. The coffee is delicious and the menu is small but very creative and has been consistent on each experience I’ve had there. Until next time!
Lovely hipster place with great decor and location. Excellent coffee. Sadly the food wasn’t quite up to scratch. Salad was filled with sub quality veg and the lemon vinaigrette was overpowering. Nicely poached egg although flavourless (hard to beat my homegrown eggs). Fruit on Bircher was bruised and almost sour tasting, as were the mint leaves. Smashed avo was good, corn fritters a touch overpowered with chilli.
Great spot situated in Vaucluse . Decor funky , staff are so friendly . Coffee was amazing. I had the bircher muesli which was beautifully presented and delicious . Well worth going to.
