Authentic appearing restaurant with the owner sitting at the front to greet members of the public. The owner comes across as abrupt but coming from an ethnic background, I can see past that and she actually does joke around with the customers and is efficient at her job at ensuring good flow from the kitchen and waitstaff and customer turnover without delay. The food though is not the best indian I have had, but I would regard it as one of the best for Wagga. It has been tailored from the authentic tastes to suit a broader generalised group so don’t come expecting the most authentic food but you will get a decent indian meal. Prices were pretty moderate with an extensive menu to match.
The food is the best in Wagga and always has been, can’t beat it. Wide variety on the menu and the food is super tasty and consistent in quality. My only dislike it the owner always comes across as very rude unless she is sometimes in a good mood. Regardless of this, her staff have always been attentive and polite.

Such a rude owner. She is so unpleasant to me but always remembers my husband and is sweet as pie to him. The food is average. Thankfully there are a couple of other Indian places in Wagga now. If the owners weren’t so rude we may have continued to go there as its closer to home.
Their butter chicken & lamb korma, plus the sweet sultana & coconut stuffed peshawari naan bread is heavenly! Rabeena, the maitre d’, can come across as rather intimidating if she doesn’t know you, however she is very proud of her multi-award winning restaurant, with impeccably trained waitstaff and some very skilled Indian chefs employed in her kitchen. The dramatically exotic fit out of the restaurant, the traditional Indian background music and the tantalising aromas that waft through from the kitchen, transport you to an enchanting place in the subcontinent. A great location just off Baylis Street and the banquets offer excellent value for money.
