  Confused. Not sure of this place,on one hand read and told that this pub is a hidden gem and well worth the trip. Get to dine there only to be served the wrong meal. It seems that a lack of care and attention to details are missing. The staff were friendly enough but a little busy to care about the mix up on several of the tables. No one on staff noticed that there was no lighting in any of the dining rooms and extended waiting seemed to be part of the experience.I hope it was just a bad day not the norm.The drive out there was the only highlight of the day.

  DELICIOUS. My favourite meal is the Chicken breast stuffed with camembert cheese and avocado, wrapped in bacon with some sort of amazing sauce! So good! And Garret’s bread is delicious too, made on site each day. I can’t wait to visit Walcha Road Pub every time I go there on holidays.

  Best eat on Walcha Road!. Be sure to book ahead because this place fills up weeks in advance and rightly so because this is by far the best gourmet retaurant in Walcha. make sure you request a window table for a romantic view of historic Walcha rd whilst sampling the delights that 5 star chef Garret has to offer. i always make a point of dropping in whenever im passing through and the food never disappoints!
