Thought I might have a snack and some coffee while catching up on some work. I asked for a table near a power point. I could even see one. The extremely sullen person behind the could just said no! NiCE.
Very disappointed that they have a big sign with a special for steak that is deceiving. Twice I went there and when ordering the special, the owner said the specials board had a mistake. Its a false advertisement to get you in the door. Dishonest!
Had brunch there today. Loved the eggs benedict with smoked salmon. The service was excellent and the place had really great ambience! The lunch spaghetti bolognese’s serving was just enough. It could use a little more taste in the sauce. Looking forward to checking out the other items in the menu!
Their food was delicious and the coffee was really nice. If you go there I would definitely recommend trying the Mongolian spicy beef. Crystal Cafe’s service was really friendly and very nice too.
I love their Cantonese crispy chicken and sweet and sour pork with rice. Presentations and portion size was good. The lady boss was extremely friendly too.
I only grabbed some takeaway from here and I have to say it was disappointing, I ordered the chicken sweet corn soup it tasted ok but it was very watery and didn’t have egg running through it like it should. The chicken pineapple fried was was average I also dislike getting fried rice with carrot in it as it reminds me of bad food court Chinese let alone frozen carrot that was mushy. Both these items cost $22 which is crazy for soup and rice with three pieces of chicken. I doubt any of the other food is any good based on what I had and I won’t be returning.
Great place to go for a quick bite or with the family. The steak and honey chicken were really good but the chilli prawns stole the show. Would recommend coming here – really friendly service.
