The Glenroy traditionally traded on the after work crowd from the industrial areas. Even though there are now many apartments around here, the Glenroy still seems to get quiet pretty quickly in the evening. It’s a nice place though, with decorative ceilings, wood panelled walls that still have a lot of windows for looking out to Botany Road, plus a large bistro area. The food is standard pub food at above average quality – ribs and wings had quality meat and ingredients although didn’t try to do a lot with the flavour. Fairly good prices for food and beer.
