Came here since my friends recommended and had my mocha, pie and desserts. The mocha was just so so like the one sold in my school. But the chicken mushroom truffle pie was awesome. The crust of the pie was quite crispy and the chicken mushroom fillings had strong milk smells with light smells of truffle, super delicious. The passionfruit chocolate mousse was good, the passionfruit filling kind of moderated the sweet from chocolate, but I prefer the pie more. The ruby dessert looked beautiful within the chocolate shell but the taste didn’t surprise me, which was a little disappointing. The price for those was relatively low compared with other cafes I had been to before, which was great.

Pastry is handled like Royal treatment, beautifully crafted by hands of qualified pastry chefs, text-book stuff! My morning coffee routine is a piccolo, which was ok, and 3 of us start hammering on Christmas croissant flavor, which was superb, apple pie, which was bake to perfection and eggnog mouse, just because this green donut shape like look so cute .Well, we were still hungry just because we were sharing, so decided to get another raspberry Cronut, that tangy raspberry flavour very good to cut through all the sweetness and follow by Dark Chocolate mousse with whites chocolate ganache which is my favorite among 5 of items that weve tried today.

Famous for their creative croissant flavours and inventive desserts, I was eager to try the taro milk bubble tea croissant when it came out. Flaky pasty with a gorgeous creamy taro custard centre with bouncy pearls inside. This was one croissant I wasnt going to share with anyone else!

Decided to come here upon seeing awesome reviews online. Definitely lives up to its name! We came in too late for the creamy croissants (apparently they sell out around 9am each morning) but instead I got a chicken, mushroom and truffle pie. Great value at $8! The ambiance was good and the place appeared like a genuine French patisserie.

The early bird gets the worm could easily be the mantra for Textbook Patisserie where their wildly popular and highly instagrammable croissants can sell out by midday. For those more inclined to enjoy their weekend sleep-ins, you can still avail yourself of a plain butter croissant or any of the other delectable desserts on display like a yuzu curd mousse or choux au craquelin. For those interested, we missed out on the Thai tea boba croissant…

The desserts here are quite aesthetically pleasing. The combination of flavours for each piece are well thought out and complement each other. It’s best to share each piece as some can get quite rich.Prices for each piece are around $8 and you can get special edition pieces depending on what day you go.Would recommend trying it out.

After seeing tons of pictures on Instagram of their constantly changing croissant flavours, I knew I had to give Textbook a go. Arriving there at 7:30, there was already a huge line outside. Despite being on the pricier side, the taro bubble tea croissants we ordered were amazing; though on the buttery side. The coffee was great, and service super lovely. Would 100% return and recommend to anyone tossing up whether the early wake up to get these is worth it
