Met a friend here briefly before we headed off on business, so unfortunately I couldn’t try much, however the staff were super attentive in asking if I needed anything or if they could help. Look fwd to returning and trying the French toast soon Nick.
Great food and superb coffee. Staff are extremely friendly and attentive. Really busy cafe which makes it a bit noisy but overall is outstanding
Food was reasonably tasty but the design of the plates require more thought. My friend ordered the French Toast which was delivered DROWNING in maple syrup. We asked for a separate plate so she could eat the toast separately.I ordered the potato rosti with smoked salmon – the components themselves were delicious, the potato rosti cake beautifully crunchy, the smoked salmon fresh, the rocket salad nice and peppery…but does the tangy dressing on the rocket salad really go with smoked salmon? I don’t think so. The smoked salmon looked like it’d been pulled from the package and thrown on the plate…which is okay if not for the asking price of $19.50. For the asking price you MUST deliver more.My capuccino was watery so the milk had been oversteamed. Wah Wah lounge loses points for bad value and bad execution.
It’s a really nice and quiet atmosphere at Wah Wah Lounge. Great place to go and have a coffee and read the newspaper on your own. The coffee was lovely and strong. The staff were also really friendly!
Disappointing experience, coffee was served to us in a takeaway cup despite us eating in and the flavour was more reminiscent of hot milk than a cappuccino, the breakfast pan was bland, boring and hideously over priced. Would never go back.
I switched to Wah Wah after a few horrible experiences at Sonoma down the road and the difference is night and day!!!Amazingly friendly staff who not only greet me with a smile upon my daily arrival, but they start making my coffee from the second I walk through the door. They are so friendly, the coffee is delicious, and the price is cheaper than sonoma(!), even for a double shot. I love the decor, it’s super cute and I love their sass. They even remember my weekend plans and then ask me how they went on a Monday morning!! For me, customer service is just as important and the product they sell and these guys have it in droves. Love the Wah Wah team!!
