Charing Cross Pizza is a great little spot located on Albion Street. We went here for a work dinner and had the pizza and pasta buffet. This was started with a selection of meats, cheese and arancini balls. Quick service, good food and BYO – everything you want when after a quiet but fun dinner.
WORST SERVICE EVER! I recently ordered two pizzas and one was not made correctly. It contained a heap of anchovies which I specifically requested not be added. I understand that mistakes happen so I rang them to let them know, and instead of being understanding and either organising for a replacement or refund, I was treated very rudely and told I would be getting neither, despite the fact I did not get what I paid for. The guy was incredibly arrogant and disrespectful. Like most people who dislike anchovies, the one bite was absolutely disgusting, so the $50 I spent was completely wasted. PLEASE do not buy from this place as their customer service is terrible, as are their pizzas. I note that other people have complained of much the same thing so it’s not just me.
Terrible pizza! We ordered 3 different pizzas and they all tasted the same, all were greasy and just tasted of tasty cheese…. Where is the mozzarella!How hard is it to make a decent pizza!Not even my 3.5 yoa would continue eating them and she is definitely no food critic.
Portions are great. Seafood is from a packet and low quality. Service is terrible, staff blind to customer needs. Must’ve came when the manager was away!
Good pizza. I went here a few nights ago and really liked the pizza. I wasn’t expecting much but the pizza really blew me away. Both the male (I think owner) and the female waitress were very friendly and service was good. Definitely can’t wait to come back for more pizza!
Soggy, tasteless, not worth the wait. We were told it would be a 45 min wait… an hour later our pizza arrives soggy, tasteless and vegetables were not fresh!we ordered a maragrita pizza and added mushrooms, but no mushrooms came on the pizza…. not worth it…better off paying a little bit extra and ordering from somewhere else!
The food was great! My only problem was the service. The waitress appeared to be very stressed and did not smile once the whole night. Giving one word answers and not smiling made us feel slightly unwelcome. My main course was forgotten/not brought out. Once it came out though it was delicious. Will go there again, just hope for better service.
