This is the sort of cafe you don’t want to tell anyone about because it’s such a good secret to have! But nonetheless: wonderful atmosphere on a Saturday morning, full of young families, friendly staff and unforgettable sfogliatelle (small clam-shaped pastries filled with ricotta and orange zest). Perfect sandwiches with cured meats and cheese. It’a a dream!!

A traditional Italian cafe with fresh offerings of sandwiches, Arancini, lasagne, pastas, soup and more. They also sell gelato, deli meats and cheeses. There’s take away pasta products too.I ordered the sausage and fennel pasta ragu. It was probably one of the tastiest pastas I have had in a long time. They cooked it freshly while I waited and it was piping hot and a delicious flavour. Unfortunately it was $17 and only had about 10 pieces of gnocchi and two tiny pieces of meat, so not entirely a ragu. They also had sweet options in of Nutella etc aroundtheclockfoodie.com
