We have eaten at the Grandview Hotel many times and have always enjoyed it there. Last weekend however most of our meals were just ok but the real let down was the steak ordered med/rare. Pink on the inside but burnt badly on the outside – how do you do that??? And the lady serving has no idea of customer service, speaking rudely to people really doesn’t cut it in the real world AND then she seemed quite put out when none of us left her a tip??? Wont eat there again

Been there twice now…good quality pub grub at acceptable prices. Had a well executed version of beef cheeks and thoroughly enjoyed it.Atmosphere is what you would expect of a hotel bistro and service was friendly and accommodating. A good ‘goto’ place if you don’t feel like trawling through the plethora of other eateries I. The Blue Mountains….

Lazy. Overpriced. had the T-bone steak and asked for it medium rare. BOTH of them came out rare… If that…and was completely inedible. The chef obviously doesn’t care about his customers. Asked for extra mushroom sauce – twice and never got it. Overpriced for what we got. Also Disappointing service at the bar. Bar staff seemed stressed for a quiet day and dumped the drink on the inside of bar for us to get ourselves

I visited this pub a few months ago and found the menu and service very disappointing so I decided to give it another go. Last week I took my wife and a friend there for lunch. The menu options are far more contemporary and the food quality was better than last time. The reason we wont be returning is because we heard a young man (presumably a bartender) being horrendously rude to a patron in public. I intend finding the manager and following this through
