Some of the food here is nice. It was much better previously, but has gone down hill a bit. They are also quite expensive and quite small serving sizes – again this was the reverse previously. The wait staff are also a little aloof and although not rude, not exactly welcoming. Unfortunately this is the best Chinese restaurant in the upper mountains – as the others are horrible.
Quite ok, however you do have to question authenticity when half the specials of a Chinese restaurant…. Are Malaysian. Service was lovely, knowledgeable and efficient. Food was hot and freshly cooked. Flavours all a bit sweet [sweet and sour, plum, lemon, and honey soy). Could do with reprinting the menus, all tattered and falling to bits .Go for the service and accept it as a cheap and cheerful 2 adults and 2 children $80
Fast and friendly but smallish portion sizes. The duck stir fry and mingolian beef were nice but the Singapore noodles were bland. Not the greatest value for money but overall nice food.
Palace feed. Never eaten in, but enjoyed takeaway three or four times now. They know how to work tofu. The beef dishes are good. They’re definitely more palacey than hutty, and in this respect the prices seem worth it.
Appalling service. My boyf…. Appalling service. My boyfriend and I went to Canton Palace in the hope of an easy, quick meal after an action filled day in the caves. We didn’t have high expectations but even then we were hugely disappointed. Food took 50 minutes to come out, entree failed to show until the end of the meal. Service staff had a very poor attitude. The food wasn’t the worst australianised Cantonese I have ever had but was very lack lustre. The duck special was clearly covered in a thick, gooey sauce from a jar. Overall unimpressed. Would not recommend
Decent chinese food in western sydney. Stopped by at Canton Palace for a quick lunch before the hike at Wentworth falls. Even though there isnt any lunch special over the weekends, the prices werent too expensive. I had the Nasi Goreng which is not too bad (could be a little spicier).
We visited on a quiet lunch time. Service was good. Difficulty in clearing unused/ not needed plates etc. food was fast, hot and delicious! Beautifully presented. Nice ambience. I would go back again.
