If you are after a snack/coffee after a walk, the view is amazing and would recommend. However, we came here for lunch and found it slightly underwhelming. We shared a toasted sandwich and a quiche, which were both nice but overpriced. We wanted to try a scone, however they were all sold out at 2pm.
This place is a bit sad and I would never go back even if it is the only place open. Most of the staff seem like they didn’t want to be there or simply just don’t care.We ordered the pouched eggs benedict, cream of mushroom soup, the sausages, and some fries. Now I’m not sure if they understand what pouched eggs are because I simply got soft boiled eggs. The cream of mushroom soup had the texture of porridge and nothing resembling creamy. The sausages and fries were not terrible but nothing special either and they are pretty basic dishes. So if you want some decent food, just hop into the car and you’re 5 or 10 minutes away from Wentworth Falls and Katoomba, respectively.
