If you want to improve your rating, improve your service. After 45 mins waiting for breakfast for 2 we had to ask the waitress where the meals were. The kitchen is busy is not relevant when you were not full. Own the fact the chef forgot the meal and offer a coffee at least as compensation for such a long wait. Your food was fine but take a look at your reviews, your score has dropped from once better scores. A shame, service is a basic and if you only have one chef on a Sunday morning, substitute one of the 6 wait staff for a chef. Sorry guys but if your not told you cant improve. Rating reflects the service and not the food.
Very busy cafe. Had to wait for a table. We both had eggs Benedict. Mine was poached and Michael was fried. The eggs were cooked perfectly very nice breakfast. The cappuccino was creamy and frothy but lukewarm. A nice breakfast
Warm little ex post office, open fire helps. Very good varied menu, the lambs fry with bacon caramelised onions & poached eggs done to perfection was delicious, been here a few times & I must admit the coffee has really improved lately.
We have been here a few times. Staff are always friendly, great atmosphere and the food is very good. Great coffee. Love the fire in winter.
Nice little cafe with several good options on the menu, including an ossobuco parpadelle pasta and a pretty chunky apple cake. However, we ordered the potato pancake with smoked salmon and a green leaf salad, a panzanella salad and a sourdough ciabatta with salmon and dill. They were all good, particularly the panzanella and the pancake. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the cafe itself, in the old post office replete with original registered boxes in the wall, is a nice place to eat in picturesque Wentworth Falls.
We visited on a pretty busy Sunday lunch time. Staff were attentive and efficient. Food was fresh and delicious, tasty salad dressing.the bread on the BLT nearly cracked a tooth but the filling was yummy. Coffee was good. If I had to pick on something, it would be that there was no menu for kids but they will do a simple toastie if asked. Good lunch!
