The interiors and atmosphere may not be much, but the food are good. Spicy tofu seafood soup from this place is our go-to meal if we didn’t know what to eat for dinner. The service is generally good, but it can sometimes be hard to get the attention of staff when it’s a full house. Overall, a decent place to eat at our local area.
The interior is quite run down and basic. The soups are decent. However, the care put into the food is somewhat lacking. If youre looking to have seafood pancake – look elsewhere as the lack of toppings make you question whether you ordered a seafood pancake in the first place.
Went for a weekday dinner. We had dumplings, seafood chowder with rice and marinated beef with rice. Overall the food was just fine. The quantity was good for the money. Service was good. But taste was just fine.
Taste of all soups and portion size are the best among this kinda restaurants. But the owner has to change interrier, and hygiene of the kitchen. Quite dirty and so narrow place.
Had a quick dinner here the other day, the restaurant was quite full which was a good sign. The Japchae (Korean sweet potato glass noodle) and the Seafood Claypot noodle and rice were nice. Love the complimentary side dishes as well. I spied lots of tables with the crispy fried wings, have to try that next time with a group of people, the dish looked quite big for two! theengineereats.com
We had such a bad experience eating here. Expensive for what you got and terrible service. Bad atmosphere and really filthy place. Definitely won’t be back.
Must haves from here are the haejangkuk (that’s what they are named after after all) and fried chicken. So much meat in the haejangkuk.. it will leave you full and satisfied. The only thing is, it does seem like they are going a little downhill as my more recent visits have not been as great as when I first started going a couple of years back. I did hear there was a change in owners, but this may have been a while ago so not sure if this is the reason for what I feel as a change in the quality of food. Oh also, it is cash only.
