We got a salmon poke bowl with zucchini noodles. The serving size is not very big and the zucchini noodles were not actually zucchini noodles, more like thinly sliced zucchini. That was disappointing. The quality of the ingredients were good and the salmon was cooked well. Wouldn’t go back because we didn’t think the cost of the dish matched the portion size.
A bit on the pricier side for sushi train. Photos online look amazing and high quality but expect the same average sushi train for just a bit more $.Not alot of variety on the train, also place is quite small.
Had the grilled scallop aburi, and a few different salmon inside out rolls from the train. Was definitely impressed with the freshness of all the food. The rice was beautifully done. As an avid sushi eater, I will definitely be making Shinzo my go-to.
Walked in having very high expectations for this place after seeing their post on Facebook and how nicely they presented the dishes, especially the oysters which looked very appealing. However, the food was only decent. They did not have any oysters either which was quite disappointing.Staff were friendly and welcoming tho
The sushi here is extremely fresh. Even the quality of th sushi on the train is fresh. I was disappointed with the menu as they did not have chicken karagee. The takoyaki was a little ridiculous. All that presentation for 3 octopus balls. The only thing I would have again is the soft shell hand roll ($7) each.
