We ordered a tofu red curry and tofu basil and chili stir fry with some brown rice. Happy to see they offer brown rice, as a lot of restaurants do not. I wouldn’t say Kaffir Lime was particularly cheap, but overall I was quite satisfied with the portion and taste so I suppose it works. There are so many great thai restaurants in the Chatswood/Willoughby area so it’s hard to compete, taste and value are both important. Not quite used to the fruity red curry which Kaffir Lime whipped up, but it was do-able. I’m far more in love with savoury over sweet, so it did take a bit of getting used to, but hey! if they can make me somewhat enjoy the fruitiness in a curry, I’d say it’s a job well done. Still preferred the stirfry, strong garlic and chili flavours which I loooooove!
We had dinner here a month or so ago when the restaurant celebrated 10 years. Our order was a Pad Thai Noodles and a Laksa – along with some coconut water. Due to the special on offer (50% off all menu items if paid by cash), there was a tremendous crowd and service was slightly lacking. However, the food tasted amazing, if slightly more oily than what we’re used to. All in all, the restaurant is definitely worth the prices it quotes on the menu items!!
They got my order wrong but delivery took so long I couldn’t be bothered calling for a replacement. The Thai green curry was bland and flavourless. Not cheap either. 1.5 stars
Fairly standard suburban Thai food. Nothing fancy but normally packed. Prices are fairly high compared to the portion sizes. There are not too many choices for Thai in this stretch of Willoughby Road but would have to be one of the most consistent in the area.
Not spicy enough. We dined there on Saturday night. Took ages to take order, no ice bucket offered. Food very bland-need to spice it up
Great food and service. We had a voucher and were not sure what to expect but were very happy with everything. The food was great and the servings were more than adequate. Would be happy to go again at the regular menu prices.
Mrs.. Prawn dish cost $30 and was served with two prawns because we had a voucher. Very bad service and unpleasent evening. Was told because we used a voucher the dish was half the size. Really was a rip off.
