Nice environment but bad food. Ordered a cheese burger and it was worst than McDonalds. The baguette was soft and dry with no sauce. It is very difficult to make chips that is dry and disgusting. This shop nailed it.
Cool cafe in terms of vibe and set up. Unfortunately the food was very average and overpriced. Staff were friendly but that wasn’t enough to leave a good first impression. I left disappointed (also hungry) and was unlikely to return.Oa second visit the meal I wanted was unavailable so ordered the bimbimbap which was surprisingly good given my low expectations. Worth checking out.
What a gorgeous cafe! The location is great too, because it’s away from any hustle and bustle, and no crazy waits or anything. The portions for the food were quite small, so lucky we ordered three for 2 people. However, prices are quite low also, so you can afford to order that extra dish. The tables are quite small though, so it was difficult to fit all the dishes at once.We had the za’atar avocado without the feta, black chia, and lemongrass chicken roll. Unfortunately the food did not really live up to the first impression. You can most definitely get a similar vietnamese roll for half the price in a bigger size elsewhere. Chicken was dry and there wasn’t a whole lot of flavour in the roll. Avocado toast was pretty average as well, nothing special to the dish, but I really cannot fault avocado ever, so still demolished it. The best one was probably the black chia. It was slightly sweet but felt healthy and tasted nice. At $9 I wouldn’t mind getting it again. There is quite a lot to like about this cafe, unfortunately the food didn’t meet our expectations this time around, so hopefully their other dishes are a slight improvement!

Very charming cafe. Stylishly decorated, good service and great food. Would definitely return if I’m ever in the area. My only concern is that the seats are quite uncomfortable, but this didn’t make much difference to the overall experience.
Love the minimalist clean lines interior. Friendly service, good coffee and large servings of breakfast. Glad the quiet side of Willoughby Rd is growing.
I was wondering around a sleepy suburb when I came across this good looking, modern, cheeky cafe. Ordered a mocha which came up perfect (sadly no photo), on a brass saucer complete with a brass spoon. Little giant roaster is also doing a little pop up corner shop, selling all things that they are using on shop ready for customers. Yes, the cute looking brass spoon is up for grab for $5! I became a little crazy and ordered a few bunch, salmon sunrise, salad and a dessert. SALMON sunrise is a delight to have. Smooth texture of the salmon balanced on the sweetness of chared grilled peach, plus the sauce is bliss. My salad came up really fresh and yummy too. Though the one stole my attention is the dessert. Chia & black rice pudding. It was served in a glass, looking like a miniature garden with raspberry and coconut flakes. The chia is soaked in coconut water while the black sticky rice is also sweet and compliment the chia in a beautiful way. The staffs are professional and very kind. Will come back again, definitely!
