The funky diner decor and friendly staff in aprons is what really makes the place, but the Rueben that I had was also good – lots of tasty pastrami and a good sauce. The milkshake was fantastic. I suppose I don’t know how you screw up a milkshake but there were no corners cut here, frothy but a lot of body and lots of vanilla. The sandwich does seem expensive – $16 for the medium size (size might refer to how much meat they put in it) but country cafes are expensive and rarely this good.

Aussie take on an American diner. We only had cheese fries ($9), which were nice and a large serving. I wasn’t impressed with paying $5 for a can of Dr Pepper though! Good vibe but wouldn’t come again.
