This is a cute little shopfront cafe in Berrima, Southern Highlands. I’m not sure if this place has recently changed ownership and been renovated as we didn’t encounter any problems on our visit. Stopped in for the Devonshire tea ($10). The scones were really delicious and so well made! The table service was quick and our scones & tea came out with little wait.

This little guy is starting to look emancipated. his ribs are showing. I guarantee you he would also have worms and flees. I doubt he has ever had flea control in his life. Where to start? As a group of friends stopping for lunch, we were extremely disappointed by the food and service at Berrima General store. We waited an hour for food and drinks, and when they finally arrived, the portions were small and our kangaroo burgers were burnt. The lady serving did not try to explain this delay, and was dismissive of our hour long wait just for coffees. Never again!
I grabbed an egg and bacon roll this morning, was the best I’ve had in ages!! Well done, I’ll be back soon, thanks, Muzz
