Decent pub food. I had the pea and bacon soup with toast (that they said was sourdough but it was white high top bread) which was extremely salty but other than that tasted nice and was reasonably priced at $12. My friend had the chicken pot pie which was nice and had a generous amount of mashed potato and caramelized onion on the side but overpriced at $18. My other friend had the burger which was delicious, generous and well presented on a platter with fries in an old school paper cup. Reasonable value at $18.
Delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. My husband had the rib eye steak which was one of the best he has ever had in a restaurant and my salmon was delicious. We had a table on the bar side away from the kids playroom which was great. There was a roaring fire and great atmosphere. Will definitely go back next time we are in Bowral.

Absolutely delicious food. We arrived there on a Saturday evening and were just lucky to get a table because the waitress told us every other table was booked. The Irish stew served in bread is delicious. My friend had the pork belly and it melts in your mouth. The Belgian cabbage is amazing. If you want pub food made with love then this the place to be. Also the kids room is a separate room but see through which is really just like a free babysitter. I will be back again and again
Not a lot of love here I’m afraid. The food is passable, but the service atrocious. The only shining light is a light weighted attempt at a kids play room.
